The hotel is located in a picturesque mountainous area, at an altitude of about 1300m. Expect mild weather with no signs of the typical excess of heat for the latitude of this geographical area. Hiking paths are abundant, with various difficulties and a diverse set of tempting destinations, at all sorts of distances. Rainproof clothing and appropriate shoes might be of use for enthusiastic hikers.

While there is a big choice of nearby accommodations during the ski season, many of the hotels maybe closed mid-June. There are a certain number of rooms reserved in the conference hotel for participants (full board, at 65Eur for double room, single occupancy, Eur100 for double occupancy – participant and accompanying person).
