By plane:

Sofia airport is the major international commuting centre in Bulgaria. It is 70km away from Borovets. Transfers from the airport to the conference hotel are possible to book with the hotel. An on the spot taxi fare from the airport to Borovets should cost about 40Eur. From the city centre (Bus station “South”) every 30 min depart busses to Samokov, 10km away from Borovets, where best would be to take a taxi to the conference hotel.

Plovdiv airport is a small, mostly charter flight oriented airport. Ryanair commutes to Brussels, London, and Milano. The distance to Borovets is about 140km. Taxis from the airport to Borovets could also be arranged for or hired on the spot.
